On Vacation For A Week

Brincadeira.
On The Road com Dada e Tê
Porque as aulas acabaram, mas o job volta segunda-feira, and I talked to my boss, so I could take one week to travel with my family, and she said YES! OH HAPPINESS!

Então essa semana todinha ficarei com minha família (abuelos incluídos) em um "hotel fazenda", just chillying & reading and being happy being lazy (porque normalmente eu fico brava estar preguiçosa, vai entender).

Well, if you know me, você sabe que eu gosto MUITO de fazer listas.
U READY??

Filmes:
Universidade Monstro
Despicable Me 2
Lone Ranger

Seriados:
Terminar LOST é tudo o que eu quero nessa seção!

Todas as outras coisas:

  • Rascunhar o relatório da I.C.
  • Estudar Violino EM CASA, e for real :)
  • Comprar cremes e coisas mimosas para mimar e cuidar do cabelo.
  • CUIDAR DO CABELO/PELE/PÉS (meudeus, meus pés!!)
  • Ir no ortopedista (my foot, man!

Combinamos, e ela mandou eu bolar o esquema, que eu vou cuidar dos horários e planos dos nossos dias: I'm so excited! :)))))

Ten Things I Live For: 52 Weeks of Blogging With A Purpose

I saw this linkup from In This Crazy Life today and I decided to try it! - Today's topic is ten things you live for/can't live without.

1. My family- Even living in another state now, I still need them and NEED to talk to them almost everyday! To tell news, ask for help or advice, or just chat. My brothers are finally old enough to become my friends, for real!

2. Summer Days. Ahhh. I love summer. Its warm, so I don't hate getting out of bed. The sun makes me want to go outside and run and play...or at least float lazily in a pool or beach. In the summer, I cant wait to get up to see what our days will bring us. Summer means adventures and fun, playdates and craft projects. Trips to the beach, picnics in the park, playtime in the water- its all summer and its all amazing. Plus, I get to spend my days with my family up there (Goiás!)

3. My job.  I love, love, love what I do for a living. I am a teacher.  I get super excited to see the kids come in at the beginning of the year and to watch them grow and change and mature is just the coolest thing ever.  Teenagers will act different in front of teachers rather than a parent. I'm not there to judge them or expect anything from them but to be themselves, so they feel more at ease being who they want to be. Now sometimes that's good and sometimes it isn't, but they have choices and they get to make them.. I'm there to help!

4. Traveling. I love to explore new places, and if those places have an ocean, that makes them even better. I try new things on vacation because the fear of missing out on them gets to me.  Snorkeling in an underground cave at home? Heck to the no. I think I get this crazy rush when I travel to a different place, because I'm afraid I might not make it back to these places, so I don't want to miss out on anything...

5. Making Memories and Following Traditions.  I love that when I look back at beach vacations I can think of places we always went. I love that when I remember holidays there are certain specific things that I remember happening year after year. I want people around me to have the same experiences. Which is why every year my closest friends will receive a Christmas Card (handmade, btw!) and an Easter Card. That's why I'm gonna try to decorate at least my bedroom in a way that makes everyone thinks of Xmas, and that's why I will listen to Xmas songs ALL DECEMBER! I love visiting family and eating traditional foods because I love the idea of growing up with great memories and great fun, and I can see this happening with my brothers! Then, I want to do the same things with my kids someday, you know if I ever grow up and get married.

6. Crafting and creating.  I can't draw to save my soul (seriously, ask my students- they will tell me to stop drawing and google it) but I love to create things. Gluing, painting, designing, decorating- its my outlet. It always cheers me up to whip out the glue gun. I also love to write this blog, it's a different form of creating that no one can tell me I'm doing wrong. My mind just runs, but sometimes its frustrating that my hands cant execute what my mind wants. But I guess that's why we have Etsy. If I can't make it, I'll find someone who can!
7. Music (play/listen). It's really funny, because I'm not one of those people who cna play whatever instrument you give them. To be true, I cant play anything properly.. I just have fun with it... But music is VERY IMPORTANT in my life. It helps me to think, even while doing my homework or getting ready to the finals. It helps me to think about life, and to do my chores at home. There was a time when it helped me to sleep. Nowadays, it's the first think I want when I wake up. "WHERE IS THE MUSIC?"

8. Friends (text them, fb chat with them, call them, skype!!!). I'm not good at "being alone". I almost NEED to talk to some one or I get crazy. I'm learning hoe to control it... you know? And stop texting everybody every time. But, you asked: I cant live without my friends. I need people, though I'm shy and afraid of them most of the time. (WEIRD-O)

9. GOOD FOOD!. And it's sad because I'm a college student, and it's so hard to get GOOD FOOD! But I really love EATING and COOKING :) FOOD IS LIFE!

10. Spending holidays at my Grandparent's house!. It's where I can rest, and sleep, and be taken care of... and eat a lot! And learn in every new conversation on the yard... One of my favorite places on earth.
